Elena Elia

Psychologist

Elena Elia is a Registered Counselling Psychologist andBoard Member of the Cyprus Psychological Association, with expertise in themental health of children, adolescents and adults. She works as a psychologistat KEPAKY (Andreas Sofocleous Centre for the Provision of Social Services) inLimassol, where she designs and delivers psychoeducational seminars and groupprogrammes, and provides assessment, individual counselling, and ongoingpsychological support.

In parallel, she serves as a school counsellor andpsychology teacher, supporting students with academic, emotional, and socialchallenges, with a particular focus on resilience and mental wellbeing. Sheholds an MSc in Counselling Psychology from Neapolis University Pafos and hasextensive experience delivering workshops and interventions for parents,schools, neurodivergent individuals and organisations, focusing oncommunication skills, emotional regulation and empowerment in everyday life.

She is the author of a book chapter on bilingual andbilectal language development, as well as a co-author in a research article oninternet and social media addictions, mental health, and self‑esteem in adultsin Cyprus. She has also completed training in body psychotherapy and iscommitted to ongoing professional development and specialised trainings tofurther enrich her clinical practice.
