Training Seminar – Recognition and Intervention of Sensory Symptoms in Autism

A two-day training seminar was conducted on the topic “Recognition and Intervention of Sensory Symptoms in Autism,” featuring expert speakers from Greece and Cyprus.

Overview

The seminar focused on enhancing professional knowledge and practical skills related to the identification and management of sensory processing challenges in individuals with autism. It was delivered by Ms. Anna Sampsonidou (MA, OTR), an educator from Thessaloniki, and Ms. Despoina Kaimi (OT), a therapist based in Nicosia.

Through theoretical input and practical approaches, the training aimed to equip participants with effective intervention strategies, promoting better understanding and support for individuals on the autism spectrum. The initiative contributed to the ongoing professional development of specialists working in the field of autism and special education.
