Since 1993, she has lived with her family in Limassol, contributing to Cyprus through education, tourism, community involvement, and intercultural initiatives. She founded and managed Pandora Travel, taught Spanish in publichigh schools, served as Director of Plus TV, and played an active role in the Limassol Intercultural Council.
In 2008, Azucenabecame the President of KEPAKY, guiding the foundation with love, solidarity and a deep belief in the power of community support. Under her leadership, KEPAKY has implemented numerous impactful initiatives, including:
In March 2020, she launched the ground breaking Yellow Line of Help and Solidarity, providing emergency food support to vulnerable families during the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing economic crisis. To date, the program hasdelivered 34,000 food packages nationwide.
Azucena shares her humanitarian journey with her husband, Andreas Sofocleous and their children Ernesto and Christina — all active members of KEPAKY’s Board. She is also aproud grandmother of four: Sebastian, Diego, Azucenita, and Maria.
She dedicates herwork to her two homelands, Cyprus and Mexico, and to future generations.
